Built by a son caring for his parents
Caring for my dad with ALS and my late mom through chemo and home hospice showed me how overwhelming the home care journey can be. Patient portals and medical conversations are complex for anyone to navigate, while alert devices and medical bracelets are built for emergencies, not daily life.
I created Lira to give my parents access to everyday support without always relying on a caregiver. Our hope is to give older adults greater independence, personalized support, and their families peace of mind, so they can spend less time managing care details and more time living their lives.
